Make a Report
We know that safety looks different for everyone. If you would like to report an incident of sexual violence, you can choose the path that feels right to you.
Reporting means you are asking the university or another body to take action. This may include an investigation, disciplinary action, or another form of alternative resolution.
If you are not ready to file a report, but you do want to talk or access support, visit Get Help.
To the university
Students can report experiencing or witnessing incidents of sexual violence to the Coordinator of Student Rights, Responsibility and Safety, Justine Langille.
Book an appointment with them at this link, or, email them at justinlangille@ecuad.ca
For more information, visit our Incident Reporting page or email tat@ecuad.ca. If you want support to discuss your options, you can contact a Student Resource Coordinator in Student Wellness.
Staff and faculty who have experienced sexual violence or witnessed violence against other employees can contact Human Resources to make a report or receive survivor-centred support services.
Anonymous Reporting Tool (ART)
You can make a confidential, anonymous report using the ART here.
To the police
In BC, you can also report sexual violence to the police directly or through an anonymous third-party report using a community-based victim service program.
Learn about reporting options through the confidential, 24-hour VictimLink BC service by phoning 1.800.563.0808 or texting 604.836.6381.
